APPLICATION PROCESS
Information is distributed annually in June throughout the region to chambers of commerce, associations, businesses, and this website. Any individual may nominate themselves or another individual who might benefit from the program.
Nominations and applications for the program are accepted each July with the new class announced in August. The course starts in September with a two-day orientation retreat; five and one-half additional daylong sessions round out the course, which ends in January <click here to view FHRLP calendar>. Participants are required to attend all sessions.

A total of 24 participants will be selected for the program. A committee will select participants based on past performance and leadership potential. The selection process is designed to provide a class reflective of the diverse elements of our region.
All applicants not selected for that year's class may make application for future classes, but applications are not carried forward. A new application must be submitted for future classes.
Tuition of $600 is charged to cover program costs associated with the sessions. Tuition is due only after a participants has been selected for the program. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to the sessions. Transportation and meals during the session will be provided.
Limited scholarships are available for those selected who need financial assistance.
