Class of 2021 - 2022

This program has been more beneficial than I initially thought possible. I was able to make genuine connections with people that I normally would not have met and look forward to continuing those valued relationships. I was able to learn much more about the region I live in although I thought I knew all there was to know.

The main message at each destination was how amazing the Flint Hills region is and everything we have to offer. I've driven through the Flint Hills my entire life but never stopped to realize what it meant and what it could lead to. I'm so glad I got to see first hand and listen to the leaders that create the strengths and opportunities in this region.  I look forward to being one of the people to add to this list.

The results for me are immediately measurable.  The skills I learned, not only about managing myself but how to work with others, have given me the confidence to take a leadership position with Freedom Fest JC, a new July 4th celebration coming to Downtown Junction City.
